What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead complex overhauls and restorations with attention to instruments’ integrity and mechanical precision.
- Mentor and train junior technicians, sharing best practices and techniques.
- Work directly with musicians to understand their instrument needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Support quality control by reviewing completed repairs for accuracy and performance.
- Occasionally support the retail floor with instrument testing, adjustments, and customer advice.
- Assist in managing inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
Qualifications / Skills Needed
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience repairing wind instruments (brass and/or woodwind).
- Formal training or certification in instrument repair is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of acoustics, tuning, and instrument mechanics.

This role combines finance, accounting, and administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
What You’ll Learn
- A. Finance & Accounting Support
- Perform daily bookkeeping, data entry, and financial transactions using Xero (or similar) accounting system.
